Due to some family tragedy we are postponing this event from April 12th to a new date in May. Stay tuned! WHEN? LongCon is April 12th, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM WHERE? D’nile Taphouse, 204 Naches Ave, Naches, WA 98937 WHO? Human’s. Childcare is available for children 8 years old and younger. HOW MUCH? $30.00 per ticket, Lunch Included. $20.00 per Child who is in childcare. SCHEDULE: We will be at two locations! D'Nile Taphouse and Cots Peak Coffee across the street. -D’NILE location: —9:30am EVERYONE arrive at D'Nile in Naches, WA —9:45 am Introduction with vision and schedule —10:00 am Introduce vendor table and authors (contact us if you want to vend!) —10:20-6pm Games FOOD and Socratic Dialogues (TBD) -COTS PEAK location: —10:30 am: Operating business and Real Estate in WA: Faith, Hightower, Phil, Josh —12:00 pm: Homeschooling —Lunch Break —2:00 pm: Experiential Education —3:00 pm Literature-in-the round —5:30 Pick up kids from CHILDCARE ———————————————————————————————————— -AFTERHOURS- What: Progressive Dinner Adventure! When: 6:30 PM until finished Who: FOR THOSE WHO CAN FIND THERE OWN CHILDCARE, and at the participants expense. A progressive dinner is a dinner party with successive courses prepared and eaten at a succession of different restaurants throughout downtown Yakima. This involve purchasing one course at each location. *This is an informal event . It will be up to the attendees to find friends with whom to go on the Adventure while at the D’Nile Taphouse.* -AFTERHOURS- What: Late Night Gaming When: 6:30 PM Who: FOR THOSE WHO CAN FIND THERE OWN CHILDCARE, and at the participants expense. A late night gaming session at Yakima Gaming and Collectables (910 Summitview Ave Suite 1A, Yakima,). $5 cover charge at the door. WHAT ELSE IS HAPPENNING AT THE LONGCON?! Various artists will be peddling there sub-creations. PLEASE BRING MONEY to purchase books, art, and games written and created by people you know. More About Childcare: Childcare is being held at the Odman Farm which is 12 min. from D’Nile. The babysitters will be Kristi O Maddison and Tijuana Easton (mother and daughter team). Kids will enjoy organized games indoors and out, please provide adequate clothing. Food is provided. Pick up anytime. 15 kids only. Drop off 9:15 am and pickup 5:30pm. Call Faith for more information.
